We’re delighted to share that Kocho has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Places to Work for 2025 by The Sunday Times, in partnership with employee experience platform, WorkL.
This is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Kocho and a reflection of the culture we’ve worked hard to build and the actions of our people in making the become greater idea more than a slogan.
To be named alongside some of the UK’s top employers is a proud moment and a strong endorsement of the journey we’re on.

Celebrating the UK’s top employers
The list celebrates the 500 organisations leading the way in employee engagement, wellbeing, and workplace culture.
It highlights businesses of all sizes and sectors – including those creating the most inclusive and supportive environments for women, LGBTQIA+ colleagues, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, and both younger and older workers.
This year’s programme also introduces sector-specific awards for the first time, spotlighting top employers across industries including business services, marketing, hospitality, construction, financial services, non-profits, and technology – a sector in which Kocho continues to excel as a leader in identity, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Being recognised as one of the UK’s Best Places to Work is a fantastic endorsement of the Become Greater culture we have here at Kocho. Everyone is empowered to hold each other accountable to our values, ensuring they underpin everything we do. We know that when people feel able to thrive, our business does too.

What makes a Best Place to Work?
The awards are underpinned by a robust workplace survey designed by behavioural scientists, psychologists, and business leaders. The framework measures performance across six key areas:
- Reward and recognition
- Instilling pride
- Information sharing
- Empowerment
- Wellbeing
- Job satisfaction
To make the list, organisations must demonstrate genuine commitment to their people. Not only through policies and perks, but by fostering a culture of trust, growth, and belonging.
A people-first culture that empowers us all to become greater
Kocho’s inclusion as one of only 187 medium organisations within The Sunday Times list reflects the culture we’ve built from day one.
A people-first business grounded in our Become Greater ethos and shaped by the three pillars of the Kocho Way.
OUR VALUES
The Kocho Way
-
Do what's right
We believe that greatness thrives on doing the right thing. That’s why we embrace each other's differences, celebrate honesty, and respect every opinion. We stand up for what’s important, always taking care of each other and the planet. And we know that life happens outside of work, so we encourage everyone to find a good balance.
-
Think greater
We’re always striving to expand our minds and grow our expertise. No matter how high the bar, we can raise it. And we’re not afraid to fail, every mistake is a lesson. Every day we challenge ourselves to find a better way of doing things. We’re relentless in our quest to create great solutions and even greater careers.
-
Better together
We believe that solid teamwork leads to the best results. Collaboration isn’t just a buzzword for us – it’s our ethos. We’re relationship people. We love to work in partnership at every step, sharing every challenge and learning, as well as celebrating every win. It’s a one team thing.
It’s a recognition of the environment we’ve created. One where people have the freedom to shape their benefits through our flexible, best-in-class Benefits Hub, and where recognition flows peer-to-peer via our Better Together hub.
But of course, our approach goes deeper than day-to-day perks. Our working culture is based around flexible working that fits real lives, wellbeing support that recognises mental and physical challenges we may have away from the workplace, and everyday moments like in-office massages or bring your dog to work days.
We ensure every voice is heard through regular internal surveys, with managers expected to act on feedback. It’s how we stay connected, transparent, and always improving.
Add to that our Culture Champions programme and packed social calendar, all feeding into the high scores we achieved across the survey’s core engagement pillars.
Recognition that reflects our values
Kocho’s inclusion is a proud moment – and a reflection of the commitment we’ve made to building a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
